Fragrances: Cologne
Cologne, perfume and toilette water are all options to choose from when determining what kind of fragrance you will purchase. Perfume tends to be the strongest and purest scent of all the selections. From there your next choice is eau de perfume followed by eau de toilette.
Finally, you will arrive at the weakest scent option, but for some a favorite. This is known as cologne. Cologne is usually never overpowering and gives a woman a nice smell without having her scent arrive minutes before she does.
Is Cologne the Best Option?
While cologne might not always be the best option and is really not strong enough in the colder months, it is an excellent choice for summer fun. Scents during the summer just tend to be lighter and more airy. If you opt for cologne in the summer you might even be able to wear your favorite fragrance the entire year by switching to perfume as the days grow shorter.
For the most part, pick colognes that speak to your sense of style. I never enjoy wearing smells that do not seem to resonate with who I am and where I am going in life. While this might sound bizarre, remember that people use their noses and smell many things during the course of the day. There are many people in my life that I absolutely identify with their smell and that means their cologne.
